Your Christmas present could transform the future for families living with dementia

By 2025, it’s estimated that over one million people in the UK will have a diagnosis of dementia – and almost all of us will know someone living with the condition.

Your support could help give more families like Ben and Janet Odom's the expert support of an Admiral Nurse like me. Together, we can give hope to families in need.

Jody, dementia specialist Admiral Nurse

When Ben was diagnosed with dementia in his fifties, dementia specialist Admiral Nurse Jody was a lifeline for his wife Janet and their two teenage children.

That’s because our Admiral Nurses are unique. They’re the only specialist dementia nurses who provide practical and emotional support for the whole family – whether it’s on our Helpline, through our virtual clinic appointments, or in the community.

Over the festive period, our specialist dementia nurses, like Jody, will be there for families who have nowhere to turn. But there are still so many more who desperately need their tailored, compassionate support. Our services are expected to be extremely busy immediately after Christmas, particularly on our Helpline, as families turn to us for practical and emotional help, so we need your support now more than ever.

By donating today, you can ensure more families like Ben and Janet’s can access the support of an Admiral Nurse, so that no one faces dementia alone.
