We're here
Last January, our Helpline responded to more than 4,000 calls and emails from people in urgent need of dementia support.
When the phone rings on our Helpline we never know who will be on the end of the line, or how distressed, worried or unsure they may be. Our Admiral Nurses are here for every caller, providing practical advice and compassionate emotional support when they need it most.
There’s always a way forward, and with your support, we can help them find their path.
When I called the Helpline there was nothing the Admiral Nurse hadn’t heard before. It was so good to speak to someone who understood what I was going through.

Jule’s story
First, Jules lost her uncle to dementia. Then her dad was diagnosed, followed by her mum. Suddenly, she was caring for both parents, each living with a different form of dementia. Throughout some of the most difficult moments, support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse helped Jules and her family cope.
It was so good to speak to someone who understood what I was going through. Our Admiral Nurse, Lucy, became our lifeline.

We’re here to listen
When families are struggling to know where to turn, our Admiral Nurses are here to offer advice, support and a listening ear.
For many people, that conversation can make all the difference. It can bring reassurance, clarity and hope at a time when they need it most.
We’re here in person
No one should face dementia alone.
