Donate to Dementia UK today
Thank you for choosing to make a donation to Dementia UK - more families affected by dementia will be provided with the life-changing support of our specialist dementia nurses because of your generosity.
Our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses are a lifeline to families facing dementia - in the community, in hospitals, on our free Helpline, and in virtual clinics. They offer personalised clinical advice and psychological support; advise people about benefits and financial issues; support families in their caring role; and help build links with other health and care professionals.
I cannot thank our Admiral Nurse enough for her help, care, support and guidance through the most difficult time of our life. She gave us the strength to carry on.
Family carer
Over 900,000 people live with dementia in the UK, with someone diagnosed every three minutes. And it doesn’t just affect the person with the diagnosis – it can also have a huge impact on family and friends.
This means that demand for our Admiral Nurse services has never been greater, with increasing numbers of people desperately in need of specialist dementia advice and support – our Helpline alone supported over 35,000 callers in 2021.
We receive no government funding and rely on voluntary donations – and that’s why we need your support. Every pound you donate will help our nurses support more families when they need it most.
With your help, no one will have to face dementia alone.
